Arm Lift Surgery
Arm lift surgery, also known as brachioplasty, can achieve slender, youthful upper arms. An incision from the armpit to the elbow along the inner arm is used to remove excess skin. For patients who have upper arm sagging due to fat deposits, liposuction can be performed alone or combined with arm lift surgery to achieve lean, beautiful arms.
Arm lift surgery can improve the following conditions:
- Stretched, sagging skin in the upper arms
- Loose, hanging skin in the armpits
Most patients are able to return to work within a week of surgery, although some swelling and tightness in the arms may persist for up to two weeks. Exercise can be resumed after two to three weeks, and results will become apparent after four weeks.
