Gynecomastia

Enhance your physical appearance and gain self-confidence.

Ask Dr. Taleisnik

Gynecomastia is an enlargement of the male breasts. This condition is quite common and it affects as many as 40% of the male population. Gynecomastia may affect only one or both of the breasts. The majority of the cases have no known cause while the others might be related to the use of drugs or medical conditions. Gynecomastia can be caused by excessive glandular breast tissue, fat, or a combination of the two. For men who feel self-conscious about their over sized breasts, this procedure can help restore self-confidence and appearance.

Best Candidates

The best candidates for gynecomastia are:

  • Males with excessive breast tissue or fatty tissue on their chests.
  • Males with chests that look too feminine.
  • Males with protruding or prominent nipples and areolas.
  • Males with sagging breasts and loose chest skin.
  • Males as young as 11 or 12 years of age may be appropriate candidates

MORE THAN I EXPECTED…

“Dr. T and his assistant were very approachable, and answered all my questions. The outcome was better, and more than I expected, and the price was more than fair. it was the pricing that helped me know I could afford the procedure. The only thing I wasnt prepared for was the emotional impact seeing myself over the first few days. Think it needs to be stressed that you will look MUCH worse before you look better. I have no regrets…I’d do it again in a heartbeat!”

5 STAR YELP REVIEW

“I went to see Dr. Taleisnik back in July of 2014 I was referred to him by a friend. I was looking to remove some excessive fat around my abdomen and lower back. I use to be very large and had lost a lot of weight, but couldn’t get several stubborn areas to disappear. I didn’t know what to expect as this was my first real surgery. So while I have a few areas that I wanted to address, I kept it just to the stomach, obliques and lower back. He told me what he could do, and he was spot on. After two years, I kept the weight off, and I wanted to address the last areas on my body that I couldn’t change through continued exercise and diet. I wanted to reduce the excessive fat on my inner thighs, upper back, and chest. I was still somewhat embarrassed to take my shirt off as I had man breast. After the surgery which seemed even easier than the first one I look and feel fantastic. I am still in the healing process at it has only been 10 weeks, but I love looking at how much my body has changed for the better. Thank you, Dr. Taleisnik and your staff. I have recommended Dr. Taleisnik to friends and family.”
