An eyelid lift, or blepharoplasty, is a surgical procedure designed to tighten and smooth the eyelids, resulting in a more youthful and rested appearance. Upper blepharoplasty always involves removal of excess skin, often with removal of excess fat, in order to “uncover” the upper eyelid and provide a crisp, clean upper eyelid fold. A lower blepharoplasty usually involves removal of excess fat that contributes to “bags” or bulging below the eyes. Skin may or may not be removed during a lower eyelid surgery.
It is possible to perform upper blepharoplasty alone, lower blepharoplasty alone, or both at a single surgery.

Patient Reviews
A MIDDLE AGED MAN THAT HAD SEVERELY HOODED EYELIDS…
“I am a middle aged man that had severely hooded eyelids and bags under my eyes. These made me look 10 years older than my actual age. I inquired with Dr. Taleisnik about what he could do for me. After a free consultation, the plan was set to do surgery on upper and lower eye lids. The entire process leading up to, going through, and recovery from my surgery was exactly like Dr. Taleisnik said it would be and the results are amazing! I am very pleased with expectations exceeded all around. I highly recommend Dr. Taleisnik for this surgery. He and his team have great personalities, are great communicators, and incredible skills.”
