Advantages of IDEAL IMPLANT® Over Saline
While they are both filled with saline, the IDEAL IMPLANT® is distinctly superior to traditional saline implants. The IDEAL IMPLANT® is made with a solid internal structure that creates a natural appearance and feel. By contrast, saline implants tend to look and feel more like water balloons. Because saline implants lack an internal structure, they may also collapse in areas and expose a wrinkled, rippled appearance visible through the skin. The internal structure of the IDEAL IMPLANT® provides an advanced level of support to enhance the quality of your breast augmentation results beyond what is possible with any other type of implant.
TECHNIQUES & Placement
INCISION
INFRAMAMMARY INCISION
Performed just above the breast crease underneath the breast. Scar is easily hidden in the breast’s natural fold.
TRANSAXILLARY INCISION
Located in the armpit. Dr. Taleisnik does not recommend this incision.
PERIAREOLAR INCISION
Around the bottom half of the areola (the dark circle of skin surrounding the nipple). Scar will blend into the edge of the areola.
PLACEMENT
UNDER THE MUSCLE
Preferred method: Implant is placed under the pectoralis major muscle to help pad the implants, which leads to a more natural look and feel.
OVER THE MUSCLE
Implant is placed over the pectoralis major muscle for patients with moderate breast tissue. This technique can be helpful when correcting certain breast-shape problems, or when a patient has drooping but does not want a breast lift.
IMPLANT SIZE
Factors to consider for breast implant size:
- Existing breast volume and width
- Skin quality and tightness
- Proportionality to shoulder width/chest wall width/hip size/buttock size
- Patient preferences
- Patient desire to look “natural and proportional” vs. larger/smaller than what would be proportional

Breast Augmentation is very rarely covered by insurance. Possible exception is if there is a significant deformity.
ANESTHETIC
General Anesthesia
General anesthesia makes you unable to feel pain during medical procedures. All surgeries are performed in outpatient surgery centers accredited at the highest levels. All anesthesia is provided by board-certified anesthesiologists.

Dr. Taleisnik is amazing!
He did my breast augmentation about 3 months ago and my boobs look amazing. They look perfect, but still real--which was the look that I was going for. That being said, Dr. Taleisnik listened to my desires and took time to see me several times before my surgery in order to make sure that I was going to get my desired results. I brought in pictures of the breasts that I wanted and he gave them to me. The day of the surgery, he was calming and kind, which was nice since I was nervous. After my surgery, he called me to make sure everything was okay. Overall, my recovery went smoothly and I was back to my normal life in a couple of weeks (excluding underwire bras and chest exercises). When I did have questions about my surgery and recovery, Dr. Taleisnik answered them within a day. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my breasts. Also the friends that I told that I got a breast augmentation and that had interest in getting a breast augmentation, now want Dr. Taleisnik to do their surgery. I live in Manhattan so many of these friends I am speaking of, might be willing to fly out to California based on the way my augmentation turned out.
I trusted in him 100% and was not disappointed. My mom also got her breast done and a tummy tuck through Dr. Taleisnik. Her outcome was also phenomenal: she has little to no scarring, she got her desired look, and she had no complications.
