What is breast lift surgery?

Breast lift surgery ("mastopexy") is a procedure recommended for those who have lost firmness and elasticity in their breast region due to pregnancy, aging, and/or excessive weight loss.

In choosing to undergo breast lift surgery, you will achieve a fuller, more flattering bust line. A mastopexy allows the patient to regain the fullness, size, and shape that she has lost due to aging, weight loss, and/or post pregnancy.

In order to obtain optimal results, Dr. Taleisnik may also perform a breast augmentation along with breast lift surgery.

The best candidates for breast surgery is someone who:

• Has lost breast volume and shape due to pregnancy and/or breastfeeding
• Wants asymmetrical breast correction
• Has undergone rapid weight loss and has lost her shape and/or size in her breasts
• Is physically and psychologically healthy
• Has realistic expectations and goals
